Working with award winning London Architects 6a, JE Stacey were the main contractor on this labour of love. Rather than a complete reconstruction, it was decided to work with the existing building and make the most of its original charm.

Winner of the RIBA National Award 2022 and RIBA South West Conservation Award winner 2022
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the cliffs of North Devon, this project required very careful and sensitive planning, design and construction throughout.
The Atlantic View Beach Cottages development was conceived by leading Devon based Architects, The Bazeley Partnership.
The cottages replaced existing outdated buildings and were designed to be as sympathetic to the beautiful surroundings as possible. Incorporating the very latest in green credentials – including solar thermal panels, air source heat pumps and a green roof system, the cottages took 9 months to complete. Read more
